Permanent Marketing Director split UK / Southern Europe £100K+ benefits

It is rare for me to be asked to help find 'permanent' executives, but it happens.

This is a particularly attractive opportunity in the Online Gaming sector. The role is based on the Mediterranean with responsibilities split to cover there and the UK. The company has other media interests besides Gaming.

The client is one of Europe’s leading online gaming operator’s currently in the final stages of acquiring a Gaming license for a new location and is seeking a Marketing Director.

Job Purpose
Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Director will be responsible for marketing performance through teams in Southern Europe and the UK.

Responsibilities:
· defining and implementing the Marketing Strategy
· reviewing marketing expenditure against strategy, budget and targets
· monitoring and measuring costs against budget / forecast
· marketing team’s requirements for data analysis
· communication of new product development to the marketing teams
· devising plans to maximize returns
· synergies between international business leveraging
· analysing marketing effectiveness and performance
· weekly / monthly reporting highlighting the live activities and relevant successes
· creating standard contract templates to be used by the service provider
· reviewing and agreeing all marketing partner and third party contracts
· competitor monitoring and analysis (liquidity, marketing promotions, trade announcements and strategy)
· defining processes to ensure marketing compliance with licence regulations
· managing software developer marketing products and monitoring effectiveness of Technical performance in terms of service uptime and project delivery online with marketing roadmap
· staying abreast of online gaming market place - thinking of new ways to keep ahead of the competition.
· Attending key external industry conferences
· working within a solid marketing team to plan and implement online advertising campaigns
o Plan and purchase both online and offline media
o Oversee the Affiliate initiatives
o Oversee the SEO initiatives
o Negotiate best deals with media representatives
o Coordinate various online/offline initiatives, including the integration, recording and analysing of performance data for each campaign
o Achievement of overall Marketing targets


Person:
· Excellent management, organizational and reporting skills
· Excellent communicator with attention to detail
· Strong budgeting skills
· Responsive and, solution orientated
· Genuine enthusiasm for online gaming industry
· A self-motivated character that has the desire to succeed in a fast paced business environment
· Fluent in English
· Italian (preferred but not a must)

Qualifications
· Educated to Degree level or above.
· Professional marketing qualification (preferred but not essential)
· 4 years marketing experience of at least two Marketing channels
