Hi,
my name is Daniele Azara from Rome, Italy.

I am a creative director and entrepreneur in animation and videogames.
I am working to create culture of entertainment in italian people and to give life to an italian videogame industry.

With PALZOUN - game first - we would like to start our job creating new astounding games in terms of storytelling, fruibility and gameplay experience.

We want to push to a new level digital delivery and non-gamer's interest for videogames, too.

Palzoun is starting right now its first brand based title for XBOX Live Arcade and we figure out to find business dealers who have the same ideas of ours and the same excitement to create something everyone would like to play and remember as a milestone in vg history.

Open to hear from you all!
Thanks
Daniele Azara

It all depends on how you can use the strength of the game character to your mobile game/application .

Merely slapping a mug shot on the title screen will do no justice to the game if the ingame attributes do not reflect or synergise with the characters strenghts.
Example: In a Spiderman game , players want to see him cling onto walls , weave webs or swing around roof tops.
Carriers/Publishers usually attach a premium to such brands owing to the powerful nature of the character that translates into 30-40% more downloads happening because of this.

I am sure others in the forum would have something to add to this as well .

Are traditional comics characters useful to attach to a game as a brand? eg; The Hulk, Spiderman, even Garfield, and by what % could sales increase due to this?
Also- do games manufacturers/creators generally have an interest in traditional comics and/or even create comics themselves?
