- About Me:
- Carla Schaefer, Senior Vice President of Business Development, has 23 years of lottery experience, and 10 in the licensing industry. She began her lottery career with Missouri Lottery, and has also worked for industry pioneers Dittler Brothers, BABN, OGT and most recently Scientific Games/ MDI Entertainment, where she heads up business development, including the international business division. In addition, Carla earned promotional and advertising experience during her stint with advertising and promotions giant DDB Needham. Carla started the licensing division at OGT, initiated the “Dream Team,” and was key to bringing the first interactive lottery games to the United States, as well as licensed games such as Slingo®, Price is Right™, Star Wars and Indiana Jones lottery games to fruition. She has been honored by lotteries and the lottery industry with the prestigious Powers Award, and outside the office for her community involvement.
