Raconteur on the Games Industry in The Times newspaper late July
In late July, Raconteur will be publishing a 16 page report in The Times newspaper on the games industry. It’s going to be looking at some of the incredible changes that have been going on in the industry over the past few years, with high speed internet access, social media and the near ubiquity of high powered smartphones giving prominence to a new generation of developers. It’s also looking at some of the societal issues that face the industry. Should the gaming industry be subsidised? Are violent games bad for our children? And can gamification deliver on the hype that’s surrounded it?
Any companies keen to contribute should get in touch with Ed Brown, the publisher, on the contact details listed below. There are also opportunities for a select number of partners to advertise within the report. Raconteur’s publications in The Times typically only work with 5 or 6 highly relevant commercial partners. This is going to be the leading report on the industry in national press this year, and as such this represents a fantastic opportunity to reach out to the Times’ affluent and influential readership in a context relevant manner.
Raconteur have an exclusive contract with News International to produce special reports for The Times, The Sunday Times, and Wall St Journal Europe. If you’d like to take a look at Raconteur’s previous work, then the archive is available at
